POLICY FOR STUDENTS
NAIL COURSE – STUDENT POLICIES & TERMS
1. Admission & Seat Confirmation
* Admission is confirmed only after the required admission/advance payment has been received.
* Once a student’s seat is confirmed, that seat is reserved exclusively for the enrolled student.
* Course admission cannot be transferred to another person without prior written approval from the academy.
* The student must provide accurate personal and contact information at the time of admission.
2. Course Fee & Payment Policy
* The total course fee must be paid according to the payment schedule communicated at the time of admission.
* All instalments must be paid within the specified timelines.
* If any payment is pending, the academy may temporarily stop the student’s access to classes or practical training until the outstanding amount is cleared.
* Course fees cover only the training, materials and facilities specifically mentioned in the student’s course package.
3. Strict No-Refund Policy
* ALL PAYMENTS MADE TOWARDS THE COURSE ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
* No refund will be provided for cancellation, change of mind, personal reasons, medical reasons, relocation, financial reasons, absence from classes, discontinuation of the course or failure to complete the course.
* This policy applies to admission fees, advance payments, instalments and full course fees.
* Missing classes or choosing to discontinue the course does not create any right to a refund.
* A student cannot transfer their paid course fee to another person without prior approval from the academy.
4. Attendance & Punctuality
* Regular attendance is essential because nail training is highly practical.
* Students are expected to arrive on time for every class.
* Late arrival may result in the student missing part of a demonstration or practical session.
* Missed classes are not automatically eligible for makeup sessions.
* Any makeup class or alternative arrangement will be solely at the academy’s discretion.
5. Batch & Schedule Policy
* Students must attend their allotted batch and scheduled classes.
* Batch changes are subject to availability and prior approval.
* Repeated requests for changing class timings or batches may not be accommodated.
* The academy reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the class schedule, trainer or training structure when required.
6. Practical Training Policy
* The course includes hands-on nail training, and students are expected to actively participate in practical sessions.
* Students must practise the techniques demonstrated by the trainer, including preparation, application, shaping, filing, finishing and removal where applicable.
* Students must follow the trainer’s instructions regarding products, tools and equipment.
* Students are responsible for practising sufficiently to develop their nail skills.
7. Nail Products & Equipment
* Students must use nail products, tools and equipment responsibly.
* Products such as gel polish, builder gel, gel paint, acrylic/extension systems, primer, dehydrator, top coat and other professional products must be used according to the trainer’s instructions.
* Students must not misuse, waste or intentionally damage academy products or equipment.
* Any academy equipment provided for student use must be handled carefully.
8. E-File / Nail Drill Safety
* Students may use an e-file/nail drill only after receiving appropriate instruction from the trainer.
* Students must follow all safety instructions while using an e-file.
* Incorrect use of an e-file can cause damage to the natural nail or surrounding skin; students must follow the demonstrated technique and speed/pressure guidelines.
* Students must immediately inform the trainer if they experience pain, heat, discomfort or injury during practical work.
9. Natural Nail & Client Safety
* Students must never intentionally damage or over-file the natural nail.
* Students must assess the condition of the natural nail before performing a service.
* Students must not perform a nail service where there are signs of infection, open wounds, significant irritation or another visible contraindication.
* Any concern regarding a client’s/model’s nails must immediately be brought to the trainer’s attention.
* Students must follow professional nail-care and safety practices taught during the course.
10. Hygiene & Sanitation
* Proper hygiene and sanitation are mandatory throughout the course.
* Students must sanitise/disinfect reusable tools and maintain a clean workstation as instructed.
* Disposable items must not be reused where they are intended for single use.
* Students must maintain personal hygiene and clean hands before and after practical services.
* Failure to follow hygiene procedures may result in removal from the practical session.
11. Model Policy
* Certain practical sessions may require students to work on models or practice hands.
* Students may be required to arrange models if this is specified by the academy in advance.
* Models must be treated respectfully and professionally.
* Students must not perform any service beyond their training or without trainer approval.
* Any issue involving a model must immediately be reported to the trainer.
12. Student Kit Policy
* The contents of the student kit will depend on the course/package selected.
* Students are responsible for the safe storage and maintenance of their kit.
* Lost, damaged or consumed products/tools may not be replaced free of charge unless specifically included in the course package.
* Kit items cannot be exchanged for cash.
13. Photography & Social Media
* Students may photograph/video their own completed nail work for their portfolio.
* Photography or recording of complete classes, demonstrations, teaching methods or academy training material is not permitted without prior permission.
* Students must obtain appropriate consent before posting identifiable images/videos of models or other students.
* Academy-owned course material must not be uploaded, copied, sold or distributed online.
14. Course Material & Intellectual Property
* Course notes, manuals, demonstrations, training techniques, videos and other educational material provided by Elesa Academy are intended only for enrolled students.
* Students may not reproduce, resell, distribute or teach academy-provided proprietary material to third parties without written permission.
* Students are free to develop their own nail-art work and portfolio based on the skills learned during the course.
15. Assessments & Practical Performance
* Students may be assessed on practical nail techniques taught during the course.
* Students are expected to demonstrate proper preparation, application, hygiene, shaping, finishing and removal techniques as applicable to their course.
* Additional practice may be recommended if a student has not yet achieved the required practical standard.
* Assessment does not guarantee employment or client acquisition.
16. Certification
* A course certificate will be issued only after the student fulfils the academy’s required course completion criteria.
* The academy may consider attendance, practical participation, assessments and completion of required training.
* A certificate confirms completion of the training; it does not guarantee employment, clients, income or business success.
17. Discipline & Professional Conduct
* Students must maintain respectful and professional behaviour towards trainers, staff, models and fellow students.
* Bullying, harassment, abusive language, threatening behaviour, intentional damage to property or repeated disruption will not be tolerated.
* The academy may take appropriate disciplinary action, including removal from training, in serious cases.
* Such action will not create any entitlement to a refund.
18. Course Completion & Rejoining
* Students are expected to complete the course within the designated course duration.
* Students who discontinue their training may not automatically resume from where they left off.
* Rejoining, repeating classes or extending training is subject to academy approval and availability.
* Additional fees may apply for extended or repeated training.
19. Career & Business Disclaimer
* The course is designed to teach professional nail techniques and provide foundational knowledge for working as a nail technician.
* Completion of the course does not guarantee employment, clients, earnings or business success.
* Any business, pricing, marketing or career guidance provided by the academy is educational guidance only.
20. Safety & Liability
* Students must inform the trainer about any known allergies, sensitivities or relevant concerns before participating in practical training.
* Students must follow all safety instructions regarding UV/LED lamps, nail products, e-files, drills and other equipment.
* Any injury, irritation, allergic reaction or unusual discomfort must be reported immediately.
* Students are responsible for following the safety and hygiene procedures taught during training.
21. Academy Rights
* Nail Aura Enterprises LLP, operating Elesa – The Nail Studio Academy, reserves the right to modify the course structure, products, trainers, schedules, training methods and policies when reasonably required.
* The academy reserves the right to refuse or discontinue training in cases of serious misconduct, unsafe behaviour or repeated violation of academy policies.
* Academy decisions regarding attendance, practical training, assessments, discipline and batch allocation shall be final, subject to applicable law.
